The 'Nexus Coworking Space' is the newest facility offered by PTSFP to UniMAP residents starting from 5 July 2024. This space provides 12 conducive collaborative learning spaces equipped with vending machines, electrical sockets, and fast internet network.
Serambi Ilmu Rakyat [SIR] Corner, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia Perlis. It is a special space that allows users to access and benefit from information sources through the database provided by Serambi Ilmu Rakyat, Yayasan Bank Rakyat. Available to all UniMAP communities for referencing and reviewing lessons. Utilize the information sources in SIR Corner and the collaborative space provided by PTSFP UniMAP.
'The Cube' at Perpustakaan Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra, Universiti Malaysia is a special 'Laptop Zone' that allows users to make references and revise lessons individually. This zone receives high demand from users. Conceptualized as cubicles inside a cruise ship and conducive, it is located on the lower floor. The 'The Cube' space can only be used at one time for a maximum of 23 units. Available to all UniMAP communities. Suitable for individuals who prioritize the concept of learning and teaching while emphasizing privacy without interruption.
The Community Hub @ PTSFP at the Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia is a declaration of commitment from PTSFP, UniMAP towards special needs children, and school students through the implementation of the 'EDUSTREAM' program. The library serves as a central 'Focal Point' for UniMAP residents and their network connections with local and non-local community members from Perlis. In the library, UniMAP residents and the community are inseparable.
Karel Berwayar in the Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia, is a study carrel space that allows users to make references and study individually. This carrel desk is equipped with electrical sockets and presented with beautiful views around the campus, conducive and located on Levels 1 and 2. Available for all UniMAP communities.
The Discussion Room at the Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia Perlis is a room provided for users who need space for closed group discussions, making references, and revising lessons in groups. This discussion room is also one of the facilities highly demanded by users. There are four such discussion rooms located on Level 1. Each room accommodates 3-5 users and is equipped with electrical power sources, chairs, tables, and digital monitors. Available to all UniMAP communities. This discussion room is suitable for those who prioritize learning and teaching concepts, value group privacy, and free from distractions. The room is also constantly used for presenting academic assignments and special projects produced by students.
The Carel Room at the Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, is a special room that allows users to refer and review lessons individually with the highest demand and more privacy, presented with beautiful views around the campus and conducive environment located on Level 1. This room only has 12 units. Available for all UniMAP communities. Suitable for individuals who prioritize the concept of learning and teaching and value high privacy and without any disturbances.
Interactive Learning Room, at the Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia. This room is available for all UniMAP communities. Suitable for conducting discussion sessions, presentations, group discussions, and so on.
The Noise Zone, Zon Bising in the Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, is the most favored group discussion space by all UniMAP communities. This space is very suitable for use by small groups or large-scale groups. In this noisy space, there is also an open cabin concept learning pod located.
Ind-E-Zone, the industrial liaison zone at Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Library, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, serves as a career center that connects students with the industry. It offers various activities such as industrial relations, networking sessions, career talks, smart sharing sessions, and more.
MCMC - UniMAP MAKERSPACE, a space for creative and innovative work as well as learning to explore and share using high-tech tools such as maker equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, raspberry pi, computers, electronic components, sewing machines, and more.
