- To acquire, document, maintain and preserve all kind of scholarly information in various formats for long term storage and retrieval.
- To offer access to information services
- To broaden information services for the benefit of surrounding industrial communities
- To enrich information resources in all programs offered by the University by collaborating in resource sharing projects at national and regional levels.
- To educate users on mastering information skills towards the enculturation of life-long learning
- To acquire relevant library materials to fulfill information needs in teaching-learning, research and consultancy activities
- To provide access to electronic resources to fulfill information needs in teaching-learning, research and consultancy activities
- To provide efficient and user-friendly counter service
- To provide conducive learning environment to all library users
- To complete borrowing, returning, renewing and reserving transactions within two (2) minutes for each library items
- To provide feedback to customers' requests based on the following:
- Three (3) minutes for directional questions
- Five (5) minutes for simple reference questions
- Two (2) minutes for research oriented questions
- To ensure that all bibliographic records are truly created according to Anglo American Cataloguing Rules (AACR) 2 and Library of Congress Classification System.
