UniMAP Library was established in year 2002, ficusing collectiong development in engineering. This library optimized ICT in providing up-to-date information resources, facilities and services. After nine years, the library has growing interests in sustaining collection developmentin digital and electronic format. Currently we have more than 30 online databases comprising of electronic books, electronic journals, electronic theses, citation databases and many others. The library has also continue to develop collections in printed format especially in science, technology and engineering subject areas.

 

 

Since past two years, we are concentrating on strengthening our scholarly collections in selected subject areas including photonics, biomedical, ergonomics and agrotechnology. Besides engineering, the University is positioning its programs on business studies, international business and engineering enterpreneurship. In line with this development, the library is focusing on developing information resources in business and management to fulfill information needs of our students, staffs and researchers. In term of services and facilities, we are investing so much on providing state-of-teh-art ICT applications and technology to enhance access to the hybrid library.
